Bently covered this well too when I got > home. > ______________________________________________________ > Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com Sean you could use a scraper to get the high points or sand it with fine paper until the wrist pin moves freely this is as I recall an air cooled engine I suggest you have them rebuilt and get the big end notched at the same time to provide more oil to the pistons when I rebuild the type 2 air cooled engines I hone the new cylinders to give the pistons more room to grow. I eliminate the head gaskets and shim the barrels these changes come from voa as of 1990 for there rebuilt engines also put new seats in the heads at a higher press fit so they stay in Bob http://www.bostonengine.com
