i have gotten like 10 people who want me to go to Kmart and pick these up... with that number, i would suggest you call Kmart, and ask them why they dont stock them in your local Kmart store.. the brand name is "On the Road" and they make auto acessories/ nick nacks for Kmart Corporation. i have been informed that they are supposed to be in-stock at every kmart store. if yours doesnt have them, maybe theyre on back order. the Tilghman street Kmart in Allentown, Pa (my local Kmart) has them.

the flip out cup holder that "on the road" makes, it nearly identical to the VW one, in size and in shape, and appearance, but it's advantage is that the flip-out "ring" that holds the cup from moving around - is actually adjustable... you can adjust it to fit anything from a little Coke can to a huge Big Gulp or whatever...it even can be adjusted to fit a liter bottle.

they come with both a bracket for hanging them in your window gap at the top of your doorpanel (no-drill installation) and also a little packet w/ 4 screws and pre-drilled holes in the back of the flip out cupholder for mounting them like they are mounted in the Vanagon (screwed in) i went wild and mounted a bunch of these in my vanagon, and in my 78 westy.. i also mounted these on my doorpanels of my audi, also, and on my sisters acura. you can mount them anywhere where there is a flat surface. best of all, theyre less than 3 bucks each. and when youre done using them, they fold up out of the way, and dont stick out more than a inch.

chris
