Steve, I made a nice one from 1/4" flat aluminum stock from the hardware store. Its about 3" from the bumper so I can wash behind it easy. Cost about $5.00 with stainless fasteners. Took about 30 minutes to make/attach. Just look under the bumper for the mounting points and angle the two peices outward and upward to form a 90º perpendicular to the road. Then join the two together with a horizontal piece. Now you have two options for attaching the plate itself. Either 1)drill the plate to match the holes required to join the vertical and horizontal peices or 2) use carriage type bolts to join the brackets and then drill bracket to bolt thru the existing predrilled plate holes.
