I just stop in a town that has an auto parts store or a store that has an auto department (like Sears or Wal-mart, etc.). I buy one of those oil drain pans with a lid... usually can get one for under $10.00. Then I find a parking lot or an empty field where I can drain the oil into the drain pan and change the filter. (You can take along your own oil in addition to the filter if you like.) I put the full oil drain pan with the top screwed on into a garbage bag before putting it into the van. Then I find a place to dispose of the oil... Some auto parts stores will take it without charge... once I just dropped it off at one of those Jiffy Lube places and they took it with out charging me. I just give them the oil pan so I don't have to carry it in the van. That's it. Bill
