I just got a dealer sales brochure for the 1983.5 Vanagon that I paid too much for on Ebay--I got caught up in the bidding frenzy. But it is a nice brochure.

Anyway, I got a kick out of the brochure which boasts a Car & Driver quote emblazened across a photo of three busses in formation driving through some mud "The Porsche 911 of Vans"

Maybe that would be good for a quote on the sticker in the sticker contest to save those of us going through mid-life criseses from need a sports car--convinced we've already got one.

As for the 911 thing, I love my bus as much as the next guy, provided the next guy is an obsessed freak, but let's be honest at best it's the "Karmann Ghia of Vans".

And it's a BUS anyway. PUT 'EM UP! PUT 'EM UP!
