I just ordered a Blaupunkt cassette stereo for my '87 from Continetal Imports on the internet. I was told it would fit, and I should have it in hand Mon or Tues. It replaces another Blaupunkt. I took the old one out and there appears to be plenty of room. I'll let you know... I, too checked out Crutchfield and found it hard to believe that only that one radio would fit.
