Subject: Propane tank trade?
Comments: cc: dbginfo@onelist.com

Hello All..

I searches for a replacement propane tank for T.U.R.D. I purchased a tank from a gentleman in Baltimore. What I failed to do was to check that it was from a Vanagon Westy, not a bay-window. So what I tried to install, needless to say, didn't fit.

I would like to know if there is anyone out there that would like to trade a good condition bay-window LP tank for a Vanagon ank they may have. The tank I have has all the valves but no regulator. It has the correct skid plat and is in rather nice condition. It has no rust inside the tank, and a nice original looking exterior (no, we didn't have it x-rayed or any other type of testing just visual).

If you are looking to replace a bay-window tank, and purchased a vanagon tank hoping it would fit, I have the solution. If there are no takers for the trade I would be willing to sell this tank to some bay-window owner.

Thanks Chris Smith '82 Westy '74 Thing even some cars that run!
