If you replaced your radio some time in the past take a look at that. The way the accessories are wired in the VW there is not an accessory position on the key like there is in other vehicles so any small lights or other such things that the radio may have are on all the time.

Hi,

My 1985 Vanagon has a slow battery drain where if left for a few weeks the battery will fully discharge. Any idea on how to troubleshoot and find such a problem?

Thanks,

Paul Borghese
