Subject: Build your own synchro westy - how hard is it?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Feel free to point me to the archives if this has already been covered... There's several decent synchros up for sale right now. Of course, I'd like a Westy, so was wondering just how daunting the task would be to convert the synchro by swapping in Westy parts. Probably not something I could do for awhile, given my resources as far having a heated space to work in (no garage and it's about 20 degrees here...), but maybe in the future, (especially since $19,500 could be out of my price range for a good long time). Thanks, JJ
