I actually thought about this a long while back, but the Syncro's mechanicals are so different it is equivalent to keeping the radiator cap and putting a new car under it to actually do. Front and rear suspension, brakes, engine ancillary systems, transaxle/transfer case, etc., etc., all would have to be removed and reinstalled, along with the cool Syncro logos and badges so people would know what you have!

Adding the camper parts is much easier. Someone on the list has a Web site that shows this conversion, or at least the pop top installation, but I don't have it bookmarked.
