I am also planning to try to modify the suspension to make it look like a Syncro.. Amazing what we'll do when it is too rainy to work on our Vanagons, eh? :-) Maybe I'll use Euro-spec clear turn signals...

Revell's Westy was discontinued last year -- there are still quite a few in the shops here in Cincinnati. I picked up a couple at Big Lots for $5 a pop. I've only seen one other Vanagon kit. I'm not sure if it was done by Revell-Germany or one of the Japanese companies (Imai comes to mind). It was done as a fire truck/emergency response vehicle.
