Someone posted that the rear bumper chunk new is like $500 and the side pieces about half that each. I patched the wallowed out mounting holes with kevlar and glass and epoxy and wouldn't hesitate fixing a crunched bumper for the difference in the costs! Regardless of which reinforcing material you use, use a quality epoxy resin rather than that crap polyester that auto stores sell. Gougeon Bros. epoxy is awesome . They are in Bay City MI. I'm sure they have a website and a dealer near you. This stuff is the Redline GL-4 of the resin industry. dimwitted Moose and Flying Squirrel -----Original Message----- From: JordanVw@aol.com <JordanVw@aol.com> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Date: Wednesday, February 16, 2000 5:53 PM Subject: Re: 91 Vanagon bumper
