A quick question for those that know: Does the ECU remember the signals that it received during operation from various sensors when the power is off and use those for the next restart? OR is does the ECU only act upon the signals from various sensors it receives during current operation and upon restarts, uses the current settings not remembering the former settings. Is the ECU reactive or Adaptive to signals from various sensors. Does the ECU "learn" or simply react? I ask because I want to know that if a sensor is changed, Does the ECU need to be reset by disconnecting the battery or will it pick up the corrected signal from the sensor and operate correctly WITHOUT the need to reset the ECU. You do not have to reply to me directly, I can read the response it on the list. Thanks, Robert |
