Subject: Market Value Question - Another one...

I went to look at a 1987 Synchro yesterday.

The bad:

needs cleaning big time - guy owns a dog, interior smells like dog

rust popping up here and there - around some of the windows, around the front grill, in some of the joints

lots of rust on the piping in the engine compartment

The good:

its a synchro

little to no rust underneath

What do you guys think? I don't think I want it. Although it would be a neat project car to fix up or simply drive as is. But I don't want to do either.

What is this vanagon worth?
