actually, No. power mirrors were avail as an option on EVERY vanagon from '86-'91.

The Wolfsburg Edition Vanagon NON-GL Camper is the poptop camper w/o the full kitchen. most of them had the "shreddy tan corduroy" interior also. (these were unoficially dubbed "westy weekenders" because they didnt have the sink/stove, etc.. They are similar in layout to the '90-'91 Multivan. The Wolfsburg edition models also had a little "Wolfsburg Edition" medallion on each side of the front clip.

the "weekender" INTERIOR is a regular vanagon hardtop 7 pass. w/ the fold-forward 2 person middle seat and full width sofabed in the rear. that's it.
