There is not that much pressure - keep in mind the air is coming from a tire
(usually).  There is a special cap that fits to the M/C.  A tube leads from
this cap to a canister that you fill with clean brake fluid.  There is a
tube from this canister than in turn leads to your pressure source.  It is a
really easy way to flush your system in about 15 minutes - literally.  I am
sure that the M/C can handle the 35-50 psi that are in the tire (or bottle
of anhydrous nitrogen...)

From the description, this system just applies air pressure to the
reservoir.  the air doesn't actually enter the system.

What I would be afraid of is the chance of blowing the reservoir or the
lines to the master cylinder.  they weren't designed to take pressure, and
30-year-old plastic isn't known for its resiliance!
