Hello Drew,

IMHO the Vanagon brakes were always just adequate. I don't know why VW didn't use vented rotors to begin with. I am installing Eurospec's big brake conversion along with 15" wheels and 30X9.50 BFG Mud terrain radials. Bigger tires need bigger brakes just to get the same stopping power. I see that you plan on going with the 6:17 R&P's as well. Now to get the trailing arm problem solved......
