Sean,

Take that greasy case down to the machine shop too and have him boil it
out and make sure the oil passages are clean.  Have him rebuild the rods
too, not just balance them.

If you buy your parts from Boston Bob he will advise you on the rebuild,
and you can't beat having an expert on call.
