Sure, it is okay for any engine, even my '65 MGB.  Most major metro
areas use "oxygenated" gas (ethanol is the oxygen source) in the
winter.  I have been using it in Seattle for the last five years or so
with no problems.  It does absorb water and can congeal in the tank
however, so you might want to toss in a bottle of gas dryer before you
put in your first tank.
