painting your van , the paint cost me around 250 dollars for everything i did the body work and decided to paint it the original color , assuan brown and beige two tone factory color with matching pinstriping , it looks great on my 84 vanagon the door jams and tailgate area were in good condition so i left it alone.i did most of it myself but i dont see it costing more than 1000 dollars , shop around . this is without to much body work etc. hope this helps.
