David, I am NOT attacking you. I am not even saying that you should not get back your charges that Visa lays on you. Passing on your credit card charges to the customer is against the US Commercial Code. You are just restating the same thing. You have one price for cash and one price for credit cards. That is just my take.

In the future I suggest that you state a price and let it be. That will cause less controversy. I would be glad to pay an extra 4% for using a card.

Let me rephrase this - I am NOT charging a 4% surcharge for credit cards - I am giving everyone a 4% discount for paying in cash...

Many business do this and it is not against Visa regulations to give a cash discount. If you would like to take advantage of the 4% discount, please send me a cheque if you are interested in getting a set of shocks - I have no problems with this as a method of payment.
