Chuck; Reading the voltage of the TEMPII sensor does not tell you if they are in _tolerance_. You MUST use an ohm meter, a thermometer and the graph in Bentley. If I suspect a problem I buy a new one and test it before insertion. I check it at boiling point, room temperature and below freezing. Then replace the suspect one and test it also. I have found TEMPII sensors read good at operating temperature but the resistance at freezing be off by a factor of two! I have had a new TEMPII sensor fail after a couple of weeks. Always suspect the TEMPII sensor.
