My motto: buy the best and only cry once! In this case, that means getting a pair of Thermarest inflatable backpacking mattresses from REI or from your local outfitter. They more or less self inflate and deflate in less than 30 sec. when n you roll them up. They used to make a really cool stadium cushion, too. Mattresses come in various lengths and thicknesses, comfort and compactness cost money, how comfy do you wanna be? I think they start around $65 each and maybe double that for the super deluxe anti slip super padded Jolly green Giant models. They roll up real small though as you will notice in the store packaging they come in.
