Hey Todd,

This is interesting ---- what types of South American fish do best in the Wasserboxer cooling system? Do they prefer ethylene or propolene based coolant (phosphate-free is a given, of course) or should I stick to the Autobahn blue??? Can you see them at the expansion tank.......... : )

Happy Friday to all,

Cheers, Doug '84 Westy Toronto, Canada

I was very heavy into aquariums a few years back and one of the things that they recommend was to add tannin in the water for several types of S. American fish. From what I remember this makes the water somewhat "Acidic."

I believe that you should not have an acidic environment in your westy engine because it will increase the rate of corrosion.
