In considering electgrolysis/corrosion/wbx fishfarming a question come to mind.

Are the salmon necessary?

Why not the cutthroat trout. They are more agressive, and with the red of the throat can be seen easier when making passage through the system, so you know where they are to do their job, and they are much smaller and can pass through the system more easily. Aggressive, they will be easier to catch and with draw through the opening in the tank.

But better yet, why not the sea run variety of the famous Alaska Dolly Parton?. Native to Alaska waters, and 1st cousin of Alaska's Dolly Varden, the Dolly Parton's are interestingly double breasted with silver sides covered in beautiful copper spots. You will often find them amongst the other mounts in the taxidermy and fishing gear shops in Alaska. Alaska King Salmon are taken in many Alaska Rivers, but the biggest kings in the world grow in the Kenai River. The record taken there on a flyrod weighed 97lbs, if memory serves. Like the Kings, the biggest breasted Dolly Partons are also taken from the Kenai River. They could be transplanted into the expansion tank for distribution. Not only do they return home to the point of origin, but perhaps the copper could help reduce the electrolysis. Although to reduce the electrolysis could result in a hairy breasted Dolly!! When one is caught the sight evokes an extremely violent emotional reaction in a fishermen. The sight tends to derange the best fishermans mind.

Now, of course, if you plan on introducing the Dolly Parton to your wbx fishpen, keep in mind that it's a lot like raising Jackalo. You know, those antlered jackrabbits in Wyoming that breed only when there is a thunderstom, and only then during a lightening flash.

To catch the Dolly P. you have got to be one fast fisherman!!

Good luck!!
