Hello hello,

I'm replacing the shoes, wheel cyllinders, and drums on my 80 Westy. My Muir books mentions dipping the entire wheel cyllinder in brake fluid before installation. Is this necessary when you've got a new cylinder, or is it only when reassembling the dismantled old one? I'm thinking of just installing everything, then leaving the bleeder bolts open and pumping until fluid runs out, then add more, then bleed. Sound right?

Thanks, Chris Gkikas 80 Westy, "Guyute" http://www.geocities.com/Athens/9860/index.html
