Bob & the list,

The two vehicles shown as the "worst" after all are really type 1 beetle chassis' (type 241 micro bus & type 181 thing). Since the type 1 design is LEGENDARY for reliability & service, proven by 20 million plus owners, to say it is the worst in the industry is to admit total automotive ignorance. However I admit that like the model T time goes goes on but the facts remain. 4 wheel independant susp, super winter traction, reliable engine electrics, service so simple, the owner could perform it with a (Muir) "comic" book, the best gas mileage in the industry AND NO COOLANT PROBLEMS. Quite a combination............

As for the heating comment, I guess you got me there, I understand that the Olds Diesel, Chevy Vega & AMC Pacer all had excellent heaters !

Bob when you were working on their new studio, did you notice a Nitrous Oxide connection any where ?????

Regards, John
