Subject: Folk Music + Westies = a Gathering
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi Volks:

Since the weather in Winnipeg is so unseasonably warm, it reminds me to let the list know about this summer's 2nd Annual "Westies In Winnipeg" gathering, at the Winnipeg Folk Festival.

Last year we had many listees here for the festival, and without a doubt, all had a wonderful time listening to music and camping at the festival grounds.

It is being held at Bird's Hill Park, just North of Winnipeg, July 6 - 9.

The web site for the event is at http://www.wpgfolkfest.mb.ca/ \

Winnipeg is about 8 - 9 hours from Minneapolis. Our dollar is so low - it makes it a very cheap vacation for our US listees. Weather is usually sunny and hot.

This year, I would also like to organize some technical seminars for the Listees who make the trip.

I am thinking of:

1. Beat the bucking- how to service the AFM; 2. How to fix leaking gas tank grommets and hoses; 3. How to replace the high-pressure fuel lines; 4. Techniques for cooling system flushing; 5. Tune-up the Dometic refrigerator;

Anybody have anything else they'd like to see happen? Anybody like to take charge of one of the seminars?

These seminars are, of course in addition to the fantastic festival events, ethnic food, camping, fishing etc.
