Subject: [Fwd: '86 syncro for sale]
Content-Type: multipart/mixed;

Alas, I must give up on a project I had hoped I would have time for.

1986 syncro, wolfsburg ed with westfalia weekender interior. Transmission is out and apart, 4th gear needs to be replaced, though the rest of the tranny is in pretty good condition. Front CVs are out, engine runs. Has some body rust, mostly on seams, not much of it is beyond surface. The body has been banged up a bit, as well. PO didn't seem to know how to drive a van, and it shows. Comes with bentley manual, trans toolkit and jig ($350).

I am located in the San Jose, CA area. I'd like to sell it to someone local, I don't want anyone buying this thing sight unseen. Has clear california title and current registration. Pictures at http://www.altaica.org/users/kati/syncro.html.

Feel free to mail me (kati@ricochet.net) and I'll answer any questions. Price is open to offers. Offers to part out will be considered.
