I was AFRAID it was going to be just my system...dam*ation or tarnation I mean.

Mine has been checked and was when I checked it just now. It only happens when I must click on, what I call, the 'link' which opens a Navigator window (and is the only way to read the post). Some of these messages are wrapped by the sender with the setting they have selected on their machine, but many are not wrapped and must be side scrolled.
