The syncro testing weekend at Hollister Hills will now take
place in April.  Betts is producing two sets of prototype
rear springs for us to test and we want to wait until these
are done.  We will thus have the new rear springs, the air
susepnsion set up Peter got, the Bilsteins, OME shocks,
stock front springs and custom front betts springs.  I will
likely swap out all 4 springs while at Hollister, although
that may not be necessary given the array of syncros
expected to attend.  Final dates will be posted next week
once I see what's available for the group camp site.

The syncro page has had nearly 10,000 hits already.
Upgrades will be made in the not-too-distant future,
including a new Syncro Registry, more links, tech pieces and
photos.  I managed to find about 50 entries I saved, so at
least not all of them were lost.  Guest-Books.com never
responded or explanied what they did to wipe out the entire
registry.  It is possible a hacker did it.  I got some
bizzare message from one person.

I have the chance to buy the URL www.vwsyncro.com.
Unfortunately, the present owner is asking much more for it
than I can afford.  Would people be willing to contribute a
few bucks each so we can get the URL.  The syncro page will
remain a syncro community resource.  It would be nice to
have that URL.
