Before you scare the shorts off of Todd, you need to think this thru a little more...

FYI: my shorts are still on. And I responded off the list to his post, and nevertheless appreciated the sentiment. Still, I think the following is attainable and realistic:

1986 or newer westfalia in good condition (with AC) with little rust and a well sorted out engine for less than $10,000 by April 15.

Seems like this shouldn't be that big of a problem, perhaps I'm wrong. In any case, as a long term member of the Land Cruiser community, where few words are minced, I'm not the least bit thin skinned, so don't worry about me.
