Hi Darryl, Have you considered the possibility of a intermittently malfunctioning Temp II Sensor. I had similar symptoms to those you describe a year ago. Although I had suspected a bum sensor, it checked out per Bentley. It was only through the use of Darrell's Digifant Tool which allows for analysis under load i.e. 30 miles down the road that the sensor revealed itself. It did what it was supposed to cold but failed at driving temp. Try disconnecting the sensor next time you stall and see if that makes a difference or simply replace the sensor (simple and inexpensive). Regards.
