Brent,

I am only aware of two "tricks" for the wasserboxer. There is no proof either work, but I use both.

1. Grounding the right side head with a 10 guage wire to the body, preferably to the same body ground point the mass of ground wires connect to on the left side. Theory is this reduces electrolysis from poor grounding of the head through the studs or exhaust pipes to the case, which is grounded through the tranny.

2. Adding NoRosion, (http://www.eastwoodco.com/cgi-bin/sgsh0101.exe) a buffering agent, to neutralize the corrosive acids that form from the normal breakdown of all glycol based antifreezes, including Autobahn. Now I use the new technology Dexcool, which is still glycol based, phosphate free and doesn't produce acids at all for at least 5 years.

Both are cheap, easy to do, and won't cause any harm, so what the heck, why not do them? -- Stuart MacMillan Manager, Case Program 800-909-8244 ext. 8208
