John & Wendy, The obvious drawbacks to air mattresses is that you have to blow them up. And when putting the top down you have to take the air out, roll them up, and store them. My solutions have been: 1. get used to the hard bed. 2. buy an egg-crate mattress pad and cut it to size. You still have to roll it up and store it, but they compress pretty well and you don't have to blow them up.

As for slider door bug screens... If you want a neat snap on jobie, the pre made ones are worth the cost because it is a lot of work cutting screen to the right size if you want a tight and neat fit. If you aren't particular then just go down to Home Depot and buy a roll of screen material for a few bucks, and some magnets and maybe some clamps. Take it home, cut the screen into tow pieces each larger than 1/2 of the door opening, overlap them and apply magnets and clamps. (the overlap is the entry).
