Subject: Engine transport: DC to Bostom
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hello Volks I live in the Boston area and I'm purchasing an engine from a listmember in the Washington/Baltimore area. I'd like to find cost effective transportation for the engine to avoid the high cost of shipping the engine by air.

If there is anyone travelling up to the NE/Boston area from the DC area over the next few weeks who would be able to transport the engine please I'd be glad to pay someone's gas and tolls to drive it here.

I realize this may be a long shot, but I have the feeling that I don't ask I will surely find out later that someone on the list could helped out if only I had only asked!

If anyone has any other suggestions for inexpensively transporting the engine, please p-mail me.

Thanks
