I'm a geologist by education and agree too, the amount of money the fed and
state govmnts have spent in removal in not even close to equal too any
amount that may have been linked to treatment of any casual contact. Miners,
plumbers, brake linning manufacturers, etc... are the only people exposed to
a serios level. There are also many types of the asbestos mineral. Only
chrysotile ( I believe) was considered carcenigenic.
