I have a mister/spray bottle of purified water with me and when I feel a
little drowsey I 'mist' my face liberally and open the window and just let
the water evaporate/cool. Works better than anything else I've tried.
(Sometimes I indulge myself and buy the Evian 'atomizers' that come in small
sizes just perfect for the glove box.)
