Hi, From your description, your Vanagon has more money in it than most of us can dream of ever sinking into a vehicle. Therefore, it sounds like you really love this vehicle. It then seems logical to me that if braking is your only concern, and you have already converted it to 16" wheels, wouldn't a brake upgrade be proper course of action? I think that at least one of the list vendors can help you out there. The cost should be a fraction of the money you have invested in your stereo, and a whole lot more important. Also, if it has rear-facing theater seats, it is a Carat and not a base model I think. Maybe the Pearl white paint makes it a Whitestar Wolfsburg! Michael Townsend
