Subject: Stiffer Westy Springs FS
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"
I had a customer call me today who was in a quandry. He had a spring shop
make up some custom springs for his '89 Westy. He ordered them stiffer and
shorter so that he could fit his van in his garage and get a better ride.
Anyway he recieved them they were stiffer as promised but came the same
height as stock (someone goofed when writing down his order). He got another
set made up to his shorter spec and he loves them but he is stuck with the
stock height set. They are supposed to have a 25% stiffer coil spring rate
(not into springs so don't blame me if I'm not saying this right). He really
likes the ride he has with his other springs and these are basically brand
new. He wanted me to buy them and try to resell, but I thought I would pass
this on to the list so you folks could buy directly from him if you wanted.
This is one set of 4 professionally made springs (two front and two rear) he
paid $390 for. He said he would take a bit less just to get some money back
out of them.
His name is Matthew Giacomino and his phone number is (561)-395-1221. He is
located in Florida. Please contact him directly for any other info, etc
(this is all I know).
Thanks,
Ken Wilford
