Mike, I think you need to explain what you have done a little better, I can't tell what you are referring to. The strap attaches to the bracket with a bolt, and the strap wraps around the muffler and is attached and tightened with another bolt. Which did you break? Also, did you get two muffler gaskets? You have to remove the muffler and cat together and then separate them, there is not enough clearance to get a wrench on the muffler to cat bolts.
