Trying to remove the floor "plywood" and carpeting in the rear area of an 84 Westy camper. It's soaked from (yes, another one) leaking rear heater core. Got the carpet unstapled from the rear and door edges, and ripped off the tape at the front edge of the floor. Got the floor "plywood" (which seems to be made of lightweight foamboard) unscrewed from the floor, and any attachment bolts in the cabinets loose. I've also completely removed the rear bench seat and storage compartment walls. The only place the floor won't come loose from is under the sink/fridge cabinets. I can see nothing holding it down, but it won't budge and I'm afraid of breaking something. Without resorting to ripping out all the rest of cabinets in the van, how can I get the floor and carpet out? Any help will help my exasperated mood! Thanks! Steve |
