Ahh, MG? Triumph? Just remember all the good times and be happy Lucas doesn't make the electrics for VW! The best thing to do is own two (or more) of each, and always have be a parts car! Right now I have two MGB parts cars and a complete used Vanagon engine with all the ancillaries ready to install! When you are not fixing you can be stripping, sorting and storing parts in your garage.
