Since Dave has posted looking for the switches to put cruise into a Westy. I figured now would be a good time to ask some real basic cruise control questions. I have never really dealt with cruise control problems so I am a little lost as to where to start. I have the cruise mounted and everything I assumed worked at one time or another. I have checked the very obvious (fuses, wires coming from switch on steering column are attached). My questions is there a common failure point in the cruise control system that I should atleast start my trouble shooting near. Is there fuses in the engine compartment? I have had the motor out of it and had to disconnect everything to do the rebuilt. However, I don't remember anything looking out of place on putting it back together. What is the minimum speed that you can set it for? This has always been the one thing that I want to fix, but never seem to find the time. As always any help will be appreciated, Ryan 85 Westy (Tardis) |
