Hi all, The tundra has thawed to the point here in NH, and I have some time, to pull the old beat muffler and put on the new one. I got all the bolts off but the ones for the straps to the brackets broke. Big surprise there. I bought a Mapp gas torch ( neat new tool, the real liquid wrench ) and got the remaining stud and the nut off. I assume that I can just put a new bolt and nut on, that the old one being attached to the bracket is not crucial. Or am I in deep and need professional help. TIA, Mike - 86 Westy syncro/67 Deluxe split |
