I have used my Westy to pull a U-Haul trailer with a piano inside. No problem. I wouldn't try hauling a big trailer, but it doesn't sound like you need to do that.

Last winter, I had to use the Westy to haul firewood...I was getting used pallets and other freight lumber to burn. I had the interior filled, crammed, with fir and oak pallets, and had the roof racks piled with them also. If anything, the ride was smoother!...and I didn't ever have any feeling that the Westy was overloaded or dragging. I could still have been in 4th at 35 on the level, but ran in 3d because it felt better.

Get the Westy, and be satisfied, instead of the Caravan.
