This should be the Sagaz "Select 22". I have them in my Westy. They are
not perfect on the Captain's chairs in a Westy, but they are the best thing
available (the attachment isn't quite right, and there is no provision for
the arm rests). I got some for some list members with non-Westy Vanagons,
and I believe they were quite pleased with the fit.
Wish we had Canadian Tire - seems like they are a veritable bonanza of
Vanagon stuff!

Bought some quite nice ones at Canadian Tire in Ottawa. Name is SAGAZ
(available all over Canada and I suspect in the US). Mine are low key
charcoal gray with discrete herringbone patern. About $70 Canadian as I
remember around $45 US for both fronts.
The store had a video kiosk display which I've seen in other large Canadian
Tire stores showing how to attach them and for looking up the right part
number for your vehicle. Vanagon was listed... and they actually fit.

I reupholstered my '81 Westy camper a couple of years ago, front buckets and
rear bench. Sewfine had just come out with their Vanagon kits. You can find
them advertised in any of the VW-oriented magazines.
I called them and they sent their catalog and fabric swatches. They didn't
have kits for the rear bench seat (don't know if they do now), but they
gladly sold me extra yardage in the same fabric I selected for the front
buckets. If you can wrap a Christmas package neatly and operate a home
sewing machine, you can do it yourself. Otherwise, a local upholstery shop
will sew the few seams necessary and you can pull them on and staple them
up.
I'm very pleased with the results.
