Subject: Re: PRICE OF GASOLINE
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Anybody on the list old enough to have suffered through the gas shortage of the early '70's? Anyone who did doesn't want to see another one. Gas prices doubled, stations were open only a few days a week and for only a few hours, people waited in lines blocks long for hours. People burned their houses down storing gas in 55 gallon tanks, gas siphoners where shot on site, line crashers were beaten. My wife was pregnant, and I kept a car in the garage with a full tank for the run to the hospital. When I traveled on business and had a rental car run low on gas I would turn it in for another one with a full tank because I didn't have the time to wait in line.

No siree, don't want to see that again, let's hope the increase in price leads to an increase in supply at least. -- Stuart MacMillan Manager, Case Program 800-909-8244 ext. 8208
