I like Colombia very much (we have family there) and while we go back from time to time, I would also not recommend it for folks wanting a casual good time. Another word of caution: Shipping your vehicle ANYWHERE will probably get everything within it of any value stolen. I have met no one who sent a van through the panama canal that didn't have to replace everything after picking it back up. -- Please note and remove the spamblock "faux." from my reply-to address above in order to send a reply. I use it to block some of the junk mail.
