I hate to bring up an unpopular analogy but nearly $2.00 a pack >cigarette taxes haven't wiped out smoking, and last time I checked you >don't n >eed a stogie to commute to work. Off my soapbox...for now. >Don Record >York, PA > Not true... Very high taxes on butts in both Mass. and California have decreased the smoking percentages by quite a bit in those states. That and the segragating of smokers in bars and restaurants (MA) and elimination of smokers in both in CA... it is actually quite nice wandering around in public these days and quite noticable when you do run across (over?) a smoker. Kind of like following a 65 ChevyII with no pollution controls.... You smell it.
